In February 2021, during the extreme challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Perry choreographed Reverie remotely through Zoom rehearsals, using green screens to capture the dancers' and pianist's images on the screen before they were edited (by Perry) into a seamless duet made to look as if the dancers were partnering in the same space.
